Dear Friend,

Last year, I was pleased to welcome some of the most dynamic political figures in our nation to my Congressional Club. Members had the opportunity to hear Speaker John Boehner, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, and New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez. This year, we will again welcome another impressive line-up. I would like to invite you to join my Congressional Club to meet some of the individuals who direct our country’s political discourse and shape our nation’s policies.

I am pleased to announce that Majority Leader Eric Cantor will be the featured speaker at our upcoming Congressional Club luncheon at 11:30 am, Tuesday, May 1st at the Irvine Hyatt, located at 17900 Jamboree Road. Majority Leader Cantor will give us a rare insight into the debate taking place inWashington DC and across the country from the perspective of a top Republican leader. He will discuss many of the key races we will face due to this year’s nation-wide redistricting. Many re-drawn districts in battleground areas will be crucial in holding the House of Representatives as we head towards November’s Presidential election.

The challenges we face due to the 2012 Redistricting have begun to pop-up throughout the nation. We have even seen a substantial shake-up of district boundaries locally. The Orange County congressional district I have represented for the past decade now covers portions of Orange, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino Counties. Due to the substantial shift in district lines, my previously secure Republican district has been replaced with one that must be protected by a strong, organized, and capable operation, requiring the active involvement of many people in our community.

To ensure that I will be successful in my effort to represent the new 39th Congressional District, I am appealing to you for your help now by asking you to become a member of my 2012 Congressional Club. By joining, you will not only be helping Republicans protect a targeted congressional seat, but you will be personally assisting me in my race for re-election and you’ll be helping prevent Nancy Pelosi from retaking the House of Representatives.

I hope that you will consider joining my Congressional Club and attending my upcoming event with Majority Leader Eric Cantor on May 1st. For more information about my Congressional Club or to RSVP, call (714) 253-7391 or email rsvp@edroyce.com.

Sincerely,

Ed Royce
